But there are plenty more things for children to appreciate about nature. Below are ten outdoor games to get your child excited about nature and help them burn off some energy:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI Spy\u201d<\/span><\/h4>\n

This classic game can be played anywhere and is a great way to get your child to notice their surroundings.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nature Scavenger Hunt<\/span><\/h4>\n

Make a list of things for your child to find on a nature walk or in your backyard. Include things like leaves, acorns, sticks, and flowers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Stone Skipping<\/span><\/h4>\n

Have your child try to skip stones across a pond or lake. They\u2019ll be amazed at how far they can make them go!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
