While candy and flowers may be popular for Valentine\u2019s Day gifts, homemade valentines are just as meaningful! This year, help your little one make extra-special Valentine\u2019s Day crafts for their class, teachers, or family.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You can help your preschooler make a homemade card for a family member! Have your preschooler dip their hand in either red or pink paint and place it on the front of a blank white card. Once their handprint is dry, help your preschooler come up with five reasons why they love the person the card is for and jot them down inside.<\/span><\/p>\n

Valentine\u2019s Day and baked goods seem to go hand-in-hand. An easy way to make festive treats can be accomplished with just a cake mix, muffin tin, and a few marbles. Fill muffin cups with cake batter and place a marble in between the muffin liner and tin to give each cupcake a heart shape! After the cupcakes have baked, ice them in a festive pink or red and let your preschooler go to town decorating them with sprinkles and candies. With your little one, make sweet tags for these cupcakes and deliver them to a local retirement community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another easy craft that your preschooler will love is a fingerprint heart! On either paper or a blank card, draw the outline of a heart. Then, in a coordinating color of ink, let your preschooler have fun filling in the heart with their fingerprints. Whether you decide to keep it for yourself or mail it to a loved one, this craft is sure to warm a heart or two this Valentine\u2019s Day!<\/span><\/p>\n
