Gloria Woods, M.Ed.
Gloria has been the executive director of Kids 'R' Kids Breckinridge since 2017. She has been active in the field of Early Care and Education for over 25 years. Her experience expands from classroom teacher, school director, franchise support specialist to professional development consultant. She holds undergraduate degrees in Business and Child Development. Her advanced degrees include Child Care Administration, and Early Learning & Development. Gloria believes that each learner, young and old, is a unique individual that grows in his own way, at his own pace and achieves success according to personal development. She is committed to keeping relevant and influential in the field through continuing education courses and professional development. In her personal time, Gloria enjoys reading, research and writing. She hosts parenting workshops and is a personal lifestyle coach. She is the mother to three adult children, 2 grandchildren and a grand puppy.
Amanda Thunhurst, A.A., CDA
Amanda has been part of the Kids 'R' Kids Breckinridge team since 2011. She began as part of our wonderful education team and advanced her career to the Curriculum Coordinator where she gained focused experience implementing the First Class curriculum. In 2018, Amanda became the school's Operational Administrator where she is responsible for the over site of regulatory compliance and staff management. Amanda earned her degree in Early Childhood Education and obtained the national CDA Credential with a focus in Infant/Toddler Care. In her personal time, Amanda enjoys quality time with her husband and two lovely daughters, both of whom are graduates of Kids 'R' Kids Breckinridge. She enjoys playing sports and simply relaxing. Amanda's career outlook includes pursuing a bachelor's degree and continuing to gain knowledge and experience in the field of Early Care and Education.
Educational Program Administrator
This position is projected to be filled before the 2019-2020 school year. The Educational Program Administrator must meet all Texas child care qualifications and have at least an associates degree or higher in early childhood education or a related major, or a credential in child development/child care profession. The Educational Program Administrator is responsible for providing curriculum and instructional leadership to the teaching staff . He/she should have specialized experience in early childhood professional preparation. He/She should be excellently skilled in oral and written communication, in both formal and informal settings; have experience with staff management and human relations; and be current trends and influences impacting program quality. Openings for this position will be announced soon.
Sydni has been in child care since 2014 and has worked as a substitute caregiver, classroom assistant and child care administrator. She excels in providing superior customer service and welcoming new families to our preschool. Sydni's hobbies include art and design and writing poetry. Her career goals includes earning a degree in industrial design where she plans to master designing and fabricating specialty cars.
Bianca Null, CDA
Bianca has been part of the Kids 'R' Kids Breckinridge team since 2014. She was promoted to Infant Team Lead in 2019. She has earned the national CDA credential with a concentration in Infant/Toddler care. Bianca is responsible for the daily flow of the infant classrooms to ensure that every child receives the proper care and attention and that every caregiver achieves Kids 'R' Kids high quality of standards. Bianca strives to continue her experience and education working with infants & toddlers and becoming an influential member of the early care and education community.
