To start, choose a sunny spot in your garden or a container that can be placed in a sunny area. Choose plants that attract butterflies, such as milkweed, coneflower, and butterfly bush! Let your preschooler help you pick out the plants and the container. Next, teach your child how to plant the flowers by adding soil and placing the plants in the soil.
