It is almost time for Spring Break! This is a fun time for your preschooler, and it is a sign of longer daylight, with summer days following shortly behind. Just because it may look a little different this year does not mean that all hope for fun is lost! Here are some ideas for getting your preschooler to have fun and move around while doing STEM activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Obstacle Course<\/span><\/h4>\n

Have your preschooler help you create either an indoor or outdoor obstacle course. If you are doing it outdoors, you can use sidewalk chalk to help bring order or direction to your path. You can then use any miscellaneous items, such as buckets to throw balls into, pool noodles, cones, anything you want. You can also use sidewalk chalk to make simple road lines, and have your child drive on this road with a trike, scooter, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brick Play<\/span><\/h4>\n

You can use Duplo Legos or any plastic building blocks for this activity. Your preschooler can gear up in a bathing suit for an exciting building project in the bathtub. Your child can use the blocks to build on or under water and observe the results.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
