Spring is here and that means it’s time for spring cleaning! But when it comes to getting your preschooler involved in the process, it can be a bit challenging. Below are a few steps to take to keep your preschooler involved, entertained, and motivated.
Set some ground rules.
Remind them that it’s a team effort and that everyone in the family needs to pitch in to make it successful! This will help them understand the importance of the task and will also give them a sense of responsibility.
Give your preschooler age-appropriate chores and responsibilities.
You can also make spring cleaning into a fun game by integrating counting, competitions, and timing each other on different tasks!
Make sure to reward your preschooler for their efforts.
But also—reward yourself! Spend some quality time together enjoying your squeaky-clean home.
