Plan ahead<\/h3>\n

Spend a few minutes here and there before the holidays planning dates for special meals, outings with the family, and parties with the neighbors. \u00a0Get all the dates on the calendar so you are ready for the month!<\/p>\n

12 Days of Christmas<\/h3>\n

Rather than planning advent activities for every day of December, keep your list down to 12! \u00a0It will be much easier to manage 12 activities with your preschooler instead of 24. Choose activities that you can do at any time and won\u2019t matter if you skip a day.<\/p>\n

Say no to a few more things<\/h3>\n

Don\u2019t try to take on everything this holiday season. \u00a0Don\u2019t commit yourself or your children to every single festive activity. \u00a0Set aside family time at home and remember to take time for yourself. You\u2019ll have more energy to give your family and more time to create special memories.<\/p>\n

Have realistic expectations<\/h3>\n
