Meet The Owners!
Hi! We are the proud owners of Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy of Mason and Clay in Katy, Texas. Early childhood education has always been my passion, and I strongly believe that a child’s foundation should be built with the right blend of education and extracurricular activities—incorporating fun and engagement at every step.
I am fortunate to share this journey with my husband, Ashish Mehta, the love of my life. Together, we have two wonderful children, Ashkin and Kinish. Our family is at the heart of everything we do, and we dedicate much of our time to serving our community and supporting those around us.
In addition to our preschool, my husband and I manage multiple businesses, including Independent pharmacy, a Mechanic shop, an Independent Insurance Agency, and our franchise Preschool Center. Our core values are deeply rooted in faith, love, and service to others.
I credit our success to my husband, whose unwavering support has allowed me to pursue my passion. Our children inspire us daily, while our families and friends bring excitement and encouragement. Most importantly, our Kids ‘R’ Kids Mason and Clay team has been an essential part of our journey, and we are truly grateful for their dedication.
I firmly believe that leadership comes from experience and that we should use our knowledge to train, motivate, and uplift others. By practicing kindness, fairness, and hard work—with a smile—we can create a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
We are incredibly proud of our exceptional management and teaching staff, who are committed to ongoing training and development. Above all, our primary focus is the safety, care, and nurturing of every child in our academy.

Ms. Asal Mahatabinoruani
Director
Hello! My name is Asal Mahtabinorani. Born and raised in England, I moved to Katy, Texas, 10 years ago. My journey in childcare began in 2019 as a Curriculum Coordinator at Kinder Care in Katy, TX. I then joined Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy in Katy, TX, as a Lead Teacher and was quickly promoted to Assistant Director. After taking a break to complete my master's in education, I became a Childcare Director at the YMCA, where I managed several centers. I am a proud mother of one daughter and am thrilled to now call Kids 'R' Kids my new home. With over a decade of experience in both teaching and administrative roles in childcare, I am currently pursuing my PhD in Early Childhood Improvement. I have worked with every age group, from infants to after-school children. I hold a bachelor's degree in English, a master's degree in education, and am pursuing a PhD in Early Education. I also have a Director's license.
My extensive experience and leadership in early childhood education make me an exceptional Preschool Director, dedicated to fostering a nurturing and enriching environment for young learners. I am excited to be your new Preschool Director and to join this amazing "all-star" team! Ms. Gabriela Wilkes

Hi! My name is Gabriela Wilkes. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I migrated to Katy, Texas 24 years ago. I began my career in childcare in 2009 as an Assistant Teacher at The Cottage of Little York in Katy, TX, and was promoted to Director in 2011. I continued in this role at Star Kiddos Daycare Center until 2015, then at Texas Kids Childcare. I am a mother of two and a grandmother to three beautiful children. With over 17 years in teaching and administration combined, working with every age group from infants to school-aged children, I am thrilled to call Kids R Kids my new home. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and a Child Development Associate credential, alongside a non-expiring Director's license. I am passionate about helping families and teaching children to learn and grow in every aspect of life. It brings me immense joy to make others happy and to see children develop to their fullest potential. As your new Assistant Director, I am eager to join this amazing "all-star" cast at Kids R Kids! My goal is to inspire the next generation to have confidence in all their abilities and to bring joy to the families we serve.

I'm Ms. Ana! I'm blessed to be married to my wonderful husband, and together, we have a son who fills my heart with joy every single day. His laughter and love inspire me to be better and give my all in everything I do. I studied industrial and administrative engineering, which helps me stay organized and focused in life. When I'm not working, you11 find me with a good cup of coffee, or savoring my favorite food- Chinese cuisine. I'm grateful for the chana! to be a part of your learning journey!

I was born in Pakistan and have my Bachelors in Science and Math. I have three children, two sons and one daughter. I enjoy teaching young children.
Ms. Yanelis
I'm Ms. Yanelis! With 23 years of experience working with infants, I truly enjoy every moment spent helping babies grow and learn. There's nothing more rewarding than watching them take their first steps and milestones. Outside of work, I'm a big fan of coffee, fresh roses, and swimming-especially during the summertime. I'm passionate about creating a warm and nurturing environment where infants feel safe and loved, and I'm so grateful to be part of their early development journey.

I have worked with children for over twelve years. I love working with infants and consider KRK my second home. I love my babies!
Ms. Farhat
Teaching is my passion and I love being around kids. That's why I choose this profession and have been working in it for 25 years. I also done a 3-year TRS program as well. I have my Bachelors in Education and Psychology.

I am a toddler teacher and have a passion for teaching. I love seeing the children accomplish new things, their contagious joy and smiles, it warms my heart.
Ms. Lynette
I'm Ms. Lynette, and I'm originally from the Central African Republic. I speak French and am a proud Christian. I attended Elsik High School and later pursued my studies at the College of Health Care Professions. Outside of teaching, I love reading, playing basketball, and soaking up the summer sunshine. The warmth and energy of summer are my favorite things, and I enjoy bringing that same enthusiasm to the classroom. I believe that both reading and basketball help me connect with my students in unique ways, and I a I ways strive to create a positive and engaging environment for everyone.

Mr. Jesse
Hi, I'm Mr. Jesse! I was born and raised in the Houston/Katy area and have been working in childcare for 13 years. I love helping children learn and grow-it's something I've always felt passionate about. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy painting, drawing, and singing karaoke. I also love spending time with my family. Some of my favorite things are puppies and kittens, baseball, and Chinese food.
I'm happy to be part of a team that makes a difference in children's lives every day!

Hi, I'm Ms. Alicia! I'm married and a proud mom of two daughters. I love working with children and enjoy being part of their learning journey. I'm a calm, friendly person who adapts and learns quickly. In my free time, I like to dance, go to parties, and spend time with my family. I also enjoy crocheting, watching soccer, and playing with dogs. Mexican food is my favorite! I'm happy to be here doing what I love and making a positive impact every day.

I'm Ms. Zoraida! I absolutely love working with kids and have a lot of experience helping little ones grow and learn. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, especially telenovelas, which are a big passion of mine! When it comes to food, nothing beats Cuban cuisine -it's my absolute favorite. I'm dedicated to creating a fun and caring environment for the children I work with, and I'm excited to be a part of their learning journey.

Hi! I'm Ms. lusmayla. I'm originally from the Dominican Republic and moved to the U.S. in 2008. I'm a proud mom of four boys, and working with kids has always been something I truly love. I've been in childcare for over 16 years, and every day I enjoy learning and growing right alongside the children.
I have an associate degree in Medical Assistance and a bachelor's in Social Communication, but what I value most is the connection I build with each child. When I'm not working, I love spending time with my friends and family-they mean the world to me!

I'm also in nursing school, working toward becoming a pediatric ICU nurse. When I'm not in class or studying, I enjoy working out and staying active. Hello families! I'm Ms. Melissa. I'm married with two children, three stepchildren, and an amazing family that includes 33 wonderful grandchildren. Family is a huge part of my life, and they bring me so much joy. I've been teaching for 13 years, and I truly love what I do. Before becoming a teacher, I earned my Associate's in Nursing and worked as a nurse for two years. After semi-retiring, I received my CDA credential and discovered my passion for early childhood education. My favorite food is steak, and I enjoy fishing, and football. I'm excited to bring my experience, care, and enthusiasm into the classroom each day.

I hold a B.S. in Geological Engineering and a Master of Science in Petroleum Geology, and I'm excited to use my curiosity and love of learning in the classroom.
