We’ve all been there…driving down the road for a prolonged time, waiting in line at the grocery store for what feels like hours, or sitting in a waiting room for an eternity. Your preschooler is bored and complaining. What do you do? Hand them your smartphone or tablet? NO! Keep reading to acquire some screen free ideas to help pass your time away from home.
If you are searching for ways to enlarge your child’s imagination, you can locate age-appropriate audio books, or podcasts with stories and songs for him to listen to while riding around with you. Activities like travel Bingo, Magna Doodle, busy books, felt pictures, and on-level skills practice books are awesome for use in the car and are readily available at dollar shops and even Target’s Dollar Spot. “Water Wow!” books are a bit more expensive, however, they are enjoyable for children with little to no mess involved and can be used many times.
