Get in the holiday spirit with your preschool-sized baker! Try these simple recipes that only have a few steps and a small ingredient list. They are easy enough for a preschooler to make!<\/span><\/p>\n

Cake Mix Cookies<\/span><\/h4>\n

Ingredients: 1 box of cake mix, 2 eggs, 1\/3 cup of vegetable oil<\/span><\/p>\n

Optional: 1 \u00bd cups of mix-ins (chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, mini M&M\u2019s, etc.)<\/span><\/p>\n

Directions:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Mix all the ingredients until combined. (An adult may need to help get it mixed well.)<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Scoop 2 tablespoons worth of dough on a parchment lined baking sheet, 2 inches apart.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Bake for 11-13 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    What makes these cookies great is that you can change up the cake flavor and the mix-ins. Use a red velvet or lemon cake mix with white chocolate chips, a chocolate cake mix with peanut butter chips or Andes baking bits, or use a yellow cake mix with chocolate chips or M&M\u2019s.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Peanut Butter Drop Cookies<\/span><\/h4>\n

    Ingredients: 1 cup of peanut butter, 1 cup of sugar, 1 egg, Hershey\u2019s Kisses (or other miniature candy)<\/span><\/p>\n

    Directions:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Mix all the ingredients until combined.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Scoop 1 tablespoon worth of dough, roll into a ball, and then place on a parchment lined baking sheet.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Bake for 10 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. While the cookies are baking, remove any wrapping from candy.<\/span><\/li>\n
    6. Once cookies are removed from the oven, immediately press candy into the center of the cookie.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      No Bake Graham Cookies<\/span><\/h4>\n

      Ingredients: 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs (the cinnamon ones are good!), 1 mashed banana, 1\/3 cup of peanut butter (or nut butter of choice)<\/span><\/p>\n

      Directions:<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. Mix all the ingredients with a spoon until combined.<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. You could choose to add some mini-chocolate chips, sprinkles, or raisins if you like.<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. Use a melon-baller or tablespoon to scoop out dough and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. Place in the freezer for at least 20 min.<\/span><\/li>\n
      5. Transfer to an airtight container. Cookies need to be stored in the refrigerator or freezer.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
