After three months spent mostly inside with your preschoolers, the moment the sun pushes through the clouds, you\u2019ll be ready to get outside! \u00a0Get your supplies ready to go so you and your preschooler will have everything you need when it\u2019s time to get outside.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Go on a nature scavenger hunt and look for baby bunnies, ducklings, ladybugs or buds of flowers. \u00a0Help your preschooler hunt for the first signs of spring!<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Spring is the perfect time to plant seeds and <\/span>watch them grow<\/span><\/a>! \u00a0When your new seedlings are ready, move them to the flower bed or garden. <\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Read <\/span>Birds, Nests and Eggs<\/span><\/a> with your preschooler and then go bird watching! \u00a0This book has great craft ideas to complete with your child! \u00a0Dye eggs or make a bird feeder to hang in your yard.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Play <\/span>bubble games<\/span><\/a> with your child\u2019s neighborhood friends. \u00a0Keep a backup jar of bubbles on hand to play with your preschooler.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Read outside. \u00a0Let your child\u2019s imagination grow while you spend time reading outside on a picnic blanket with her favorite books.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Make a <\/span>water cycle discovery jar<\/span><\/a>. \u00a0While you\u2019re stuck inside due to spring storms, help your preschooler learn more about the water cycle and why there are clouds, rain, and water puddles!<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Pick wildflowers. \u00a0Spring time is the perfect time to drive out and look for wildflowers. \u00a0Find an old country road to roll the windows down, turn up the music, and find some beautiful wild flowers. \u00a0Don\u2019t be afraid to pull over on the side of the road to pick some of your favorites with your preschooler!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
