Quick and Healthy Preschooler – Approved Snacks

Finding quick and healthy snacks for preschoolers can be a challenge. But it doesn’t have to be! With a bit of planning and creativity, you can easily provide your preschooler with nutritious snacks that are both tasty and convenient. 

Fruit smoothie!

Blend up a smoothie with some yogurt, fruit and a little bit of honey or maple syrup. This is a sweet, cool snack that kids will enjoy on those warm spring days. 

Trail mix

Mix together some dried fruit, nuts, and seeds for a healthy and tasty snack. Add a few chocolate chips for extra preschooler approval!

Apple slices

Apples don’t have to be boring! Cut up an apple and serve with a tablespoon of peanut butter for dipping. Or, for a special treat, serve with a little bit of cinnamon-sugar sprinkled on top.

Simply fill some celery sticks with peanut butter and top with raisins. It’s a great snack for kids to make and enjoy, and it’s a nutritional snack full of protein!
