Take a staycation!<\/b><\/h2>\n

If you don\u2019t have any major plans this summer\u2014don\u2019t fret! You can easily transform your home into the ultimate vacation destination. With a sprinkler party, a baby pool, or a tarp and some baby oil, your child will feel like they\u2019re at a waterpark rather than in their own backyard.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pack comfortably.<\/b><\/h2>\n

Remember to pack comfortably, and keep climate in mind. Maybe you\u2019re heading for cooler temperatures where you\u2019ll need cozy jackets and scarves, or maybe you\u2019re traveling to the beach. Pack accordingly, and wear comfortable clothes in the car.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bring your child\u2019s favorite item.<\/b><\/h2>\n

Consider packing your child\u2019s favorite blanket or stuffed animal in their suitcase or carry on. Traveling somewhere new for the first time can cause feelings of uneasiness. However, a small piece of home will provide your child with a sense of familiarity and comfort in case they\u2019re feeling home sick.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pack a few special treats or toys to reward your preschooler for having good behavior, and try to be patient when they\u2019re not. No one likes being stuck in a car for hours at a time, but hopefully these travel tips will make your experience flow smoothly. Bon voyage!<\/span><\/p>\n
