Even if it is just an old button-down shirt that can cover a little one\u2019s clothing to protect in case of spills.\u00a0 It\u2019s best to not have to worry about the mess during a learning activity.<\/li>\n<li>Set out small bowls of paint, providing the primary colors and a few common favorites. This allows preschoolers to freely choose and experiment with their own curiosities.<\/li>\n<li>Find specialty finger paint paper that won\u2019t tear or rip due to over saturation. If you don\u2019t have any on hand, parchment paper can work in a pinch.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Process of Color Theory Study<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Encourage your preschooler to select two colors.\u00a0 They can put the paint directly on each side of the paper, or one in each hand if they enjoy the sensory experience.
