Hello and thank you for your interest in our Learning Academy! We are Scott & Sarah McMullen, the proud owners of Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy of Blue Valley. Scott is an architect and Sarah is the on-site owner at our Learning Academy. Her background in designing nationwide curriculum for companies like American Academy of Family Physicians and Scholastic, paired with a 34-year military career, make her the perfect leader for our facility!
We have three children that all take an active role in the Academy operations. Connor, the oldest child, is a graduate and former Track & Field athlete of The University of Kansas. His background in Economics and Entrepreneurship provide the foundation for his role as the CEO. Sophia, the middle child, is a graduate and former Volleyball player of Northwest Missouri State and Washburn University. Her background in Early Childhood Education & Special Education serves her well as the Personnel Director. Corinna, the youngest child, currently attends Washburn University where she is a member of the Volleyball team and studies Early Childhood Education and Business. While on school breaks, she serves as one of our Senior Lead Teachers.
We are truly a family-owned and operated business. Our purpose is to provide safe, equitable, challenging, and motivating learning environments for our students and staff members. It is very important to us that families consider us partners in the care and education of their children. We have an “open door” policy at all times and encourage families to visit with us about anything. We hope to share our passion for early education with you during a tour of our facility!
