Our Safety & Security

Kids ‘R’ Kids has consulted with experts to create a safety and security program with the following features:

- Infant, child and adult CPR and First Aid trained staff
- Dedicated (Boo-Boo) room to address medical needs

- Closed-circuit cameras that are continuously monitored by staff

Our Dining Experience

Research shows that practicing family-style dining enhances social skills, table manners, and increases conversation techniques. Our nutritious dining program is designed with these attributes in mind, and features:

- Mealtime conversation focused on nutritional education
- Well-balanced and healthy meals prepared by onsite chef
- Protocols to protect children with food allergies
- Menus that are prepared in advance and available online
- For bottle-fed children, families must provide prepared formula or mother’s milk placed in bottles. All infant items should be marked with the child´s first and last name. We will inform you of the policy regarding baby foods

Our Outdoor Time

Outdoor time is all about exploring our natural environment, developing physical skills and enhancing brain growth. Components include:

- Large separate playgrounds designed specifically for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children

- Supervised free play to promote physical fitness and development
- Outdoor classroom educational activities

Parent Paid Extra Curricular Programs

Kids ‘R’ Kids is committed to teaching children to be active. Childhood obesity is on the rise and being active is one way to fight it. Soccer helps provide exercise and children gain a great sense of accomplishment while learning the sport. We have arranged for an outside company, Soccer Shots, to teach a soccer class to children age 2 1/2 years and older for those who have signed up for this extra activity. Ask a front desk staff for more information and how to sign up for this weekly class.

Special Programs

Health and Fitness – Recent studies show that our society, through the comforts of technology and fast food, has enabled childhood obesity to reach epidemic proportions. Kids ‘R’ Kids knows how important physical activity is to any child’s development, and that is why our centers include the Kids ‘R’ Kids Health and Fitness Challenge. Our unique Health and Fitness Program provides the tools for kids of all ages to learn how to be healthy. Throughout this curriculum, we emphasize healthy bodies, the food pyramid, family style dining, and physical fitness. We stress the importance of fair play, team cooperation, and physical well-being.

Foreign Language – There is no better time to learn another language than during the early childhood years. In fact, a child’s brain is designed to learn multiple languages. We teach Spanish and Sign Language along with the values of diversity and communication.

ColorSoundation – Music is an incredible tool that enhances brain development. Our music programs expose children to a variety of musical styles and techniques while awakening their inner abilities. Children from ages 3 and older will enjoy learning about all of the elements of music including beats, rhythm, how to read and write music and more! This program is included in the tuition for all full-time students and meets once a week for 45 minutes.

Computers – Knowing that our future continues to involve the technology of computers, Kids `R` Kids understands the importance of providing your child with the latest in electronic lessons and games to support the educational themes taught in school. Children become familiar with technology while using the Smart Board and in the computer lab.

Smart Board – Our Technology teacher works with children in the three-year old through Kindergarten classrooms in small groups. This interactive board integrates with the curriculum taught in the classrooms to reinforce learning.
