Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy has many franchises located throughout the southern United States and more than 30 years of experience in the childcare industry.  Each franchise is individually owned and operated.  The first Kids ‘R’ Kids opened in 1985 in Georgia. Since opening the doors, the philosophy, “Hug First, Then Teach,” has not changed. Kids ‘R’ Kids is one of the top franchisors in the childcare industry with innovative educational strategies that focus on the overall development of the child.

Kids ‘R’ Kids Las Colinas has been proudly serving families in the Las Colinas, Valley Ranch, Irving, Coppell, Hackberry, and other surrounding North Dallas communities since 1998.

As a leader in the child care industry, Kids ‘R’ Kids is the perfect choice. The center is approximately 15,000 square feet with 12 classroom suites, a cafeteria, gym/gameroom, library, and four large playground areas separated by age groups. The school also has an on-site splash park and new artificial turf in all the playground areas. Cameras are located throughout the facility and playground area with free internet viewing for enrolled families.

Our Classrooms

Our classrooms are designed to create an atmosphere where education and safety are priorities. Our classrooms feature:

  • Camera system
  • Floor-to-ceiling tempered glass walls and doors, which give children a preview of their next level classroom and aids in their transition into that class
  • Separate, clean storage for each child’s personal belongings
  • Child-sized handwashing facilities and separate children’s restrooms
  • Direct access to fenced playgrounds separated by age group, with outdoor camera system

Safety & Security

Kids ‘R’ Kids has consulted with experts to create a safety and security program with the following features:

  • Infant, child and adult CPR and First Aid trained staff
  • Dedicated (Boo-Boo) room to address medical needs
  • Strict background checks on all staff
  • Secured entrances with restricted visitor access
  • Closed-circuit cameras that are continuously monitored by staff 
  • Password-protected Internet viewing of classrooms, playgrounds and the cafeteria 
  • Tempered glass walls and doors for situational awareness
  • Emergency and inclement weather preparedness plan
