We are one of only two preschools in all of Cobb County to be both nationally accredited by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children)and a Center of Distinction as designated by the State of Georgia, the highest quality designation awarded to preschools. In addition, Kids ‘R’ Kids is the first national early childhood education franchise to be granted District Accreditation from the AdvancED Accreditation commission, the national commission that confers the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA/CASI, SACS/CASI and NWAC) accreditation seal. No other East Cobb preschool can make these claims.

With the exception of our infant room, we offer both full and part-time enrollment. Since we are a year-round preschool, we give preference for spaces to full-time children. With this in mind, we try to and generally do accommodate requests for part-time schedules but ask part-time parents to be as flexible as possible with the days they attend.
This is an important question. Many centers only follow state minimum guidlelines and have as few teachers in a room as allowed by law. However, as a NAEYC accredited preschool, we voluntarily adhere to higher standards and as a general rule, we have an extra teacher in most of our classrooms. For example, we have a 1:4 teacher to child ratio in our infant room, as opposed to the state mandated minimum of 1:6. Having an extra teacher in a classroom allows for teaching and education and higher quality care, as opposed to just babysitting.
Our center has school buses (not unsafe vans) with seat belts to transport children from local elementary schools to our center in the afternoons. We currently pick up after school at Mt. Bethel, Sope Creek, East Side, and East Valley Elementary Schools.
We do not provide transportation in the mornings from our center to any schools.
Yes, our buses are available for area field trips. We transport children who meet the state’s age requirements. Whether it is the local grocery store, the petting zoo, the library, a museum, and entertainment places such as roller skating, bowling or putt-putt golf, we provide fun and learning for the children.
Yes, our schools are equipped with three areas of outside play, one for our Infants and Toddlers, one for our Preschoolers, and one for our Pre-Kindergarten and After-School Program. As an added safety feature, our schools have six-foot tall fencing around the outside perimeter of the play areas.
