FULL PROGRAM FOR KINDERGARTEN – 5TH GRADE
Kids ‘R’ Kids Crabapple’s after-school program is designed to accommodate working parents who are looking for a safe and nurturing after-school environment for their Kindergarten through 5th grade students. In our After School program, your child can build upon their education outside of school by participating in various clubs and activities that challenge them in fun new ways!
For our After School students we offer transportation from Crabapple Crossing, Sweet Apple, Hembree Springs, Alpharetta, Birmingham Falls, and Summitt Hill Elementary Schools.
When your children arrive at our Center they sit down to a nutritious snack and then complete their homework – our teachers are there to help! After homework is complete, your kids engage in fun, supervised activities inside our large after-school room and outside on our fully equipped playground. We end the week with Fun Fridays, which can include magic shows, martial arts lessons, special guests and so much more!
By meeting with parents, our teachers can determine what each child requires after school, whether it is help in order to complete homework assignments, or special assistance in reading or math. Our teachers also know that after a busy day at school, children need time to get out and play! Supervised playgrounds are divided by age groups and give each child the chance to direct that special energy only children have. There are enrichment classes that are also offered to the school-age children.

Meals & Snacks
For our before and after school program, your child will be provided with a snack time which follows all Kids ‘R’ Kids guidelines for safe, sanitary and healthy foods.
- Children eat all meals and snacks together, using family-style seating in our kid-friendly café
- Meals and snacks are prepared in our commercial-grade kitchen, which is kept separated from the classrooms
- All allergies are documented and kept in the front office with administrators
- Our school is a nut-free zone
G.Y.M. Curriculum® for School Age
Growing Young Minds Curriculum®, or G.Y.M. is the premise behind our curriculum for this age group.
Kids ‘R’ Kids believes after-school time should be spent encouraging social and emotional growth as well as continuing academic growth through activities and games. At any age, it’s best to learn through play and Kids ‘R’ Kids even takes this philosophy into account for the big kids.
